Rico’s re-Invented Kilt
MadonnaTriber Rico is very happy about his latest purchase and would like to share his story with The Tribe.
“Today I got my re-Invention kilt from Usa Kilts and it is absolutely fantastic! So, I just wanted to share my excitement with you guys and took a picture right away”, he writes us.
He adds: “Definitely something to wear at the next Madonna concert and for
special occassions, such as this years beer festival.
can this day get any better?”
Congratulations Rico, you look great in the kilt as our readers can see from the picture below on the left.
MadonnaTribe had the chance to do an Exclusive Interview last year with Rocky Roeger and Kelly Stewart, the partners in charge of the USA Kilts company, the sole designer and manufacturer of the kilts used on the re-Invention tour and we discovered some nice and interesting facts on the “costume” they created for Madonna and her dancers.
“In March [2004], we were contacted by a ‘dance-troupe’ who said that they were out of the Los Angeles area, but they did not give much more information than that. They asked us to send samples of our different kilts. About 2 weeks after we sent the samples, they contacted us again to let us know that we had the job. Then they told us it was for Madonna”, Ricky and Kelly told us, adding that they “made a total of 40 kilts. Originally, not all of the people on stage were going to get one, but the dancers were going to each have 2. They used the spare kilts to outfit other people on stage”
