‘Sorry’ release date moved to February in Japan
It was looking like Japan was going an early release of sort of Madonna’s next single, as several online retailers and the Warner Music Japan website itself were listing “Sorry” to come out in the Japanese market on January 25, 2006.
The release date has now been moved up to February 22, 2006, matching the one that UK retailer HMV is listing since a few weeks (February 20, 2006), and hinting for a worlwide release of the second single from “Confessions On A Dance Floor” in late February.
Among the rumoured promotional appearance for “Sorry” the French press keeps talking about the NRJ Music Awards in Cannes, while Italian music industry insiders recently started to report about Madonna supposedly being in talks to be the special guest of next year’s Sanremo Festival. Please note that this has to be treated as nothing but a rumor at the present stage.
