Stephan Grondin takes top spot
Stephan Grondin has been awarded the title of “The Québec DJ of the Year” based on a survey conducted by www.tubbies.com among DJs, promoters and club owners working on the Circuit scene. Proud of 22 years in a prolific “major league” career, Stephan Grondin still enjoys his vocation to the fullest and is the Resident DJ at (((Stéréo))) Afterhours and at Laval’s Red-Lite.
The word “downtime” never appears in his agenda. When he’s not behind the turntables, Stephan spends hours in his studio, working or reworking the productions of big world stars: Madonna, Whitney Houston, Kylie Minogue, Suzanne Palmer, Destiny’s Child, Superchumbo, Toni Braxton, Malina and Deborah Cox, to name but a few.
Stephan’s list of future projects is extensive, but what really stands out is the invitation from Madonna and her entire team to remix Deeper & Deeper, which the American star hopes to include in her next CD of remixes. If the project unfolds as planned, early next year, we should have the opportunity to hear Madonna, remixed Quebéc’s own artist.
