Still Shiny and New

In today’s M-Morabilia corner we take again time to celebrate the 20 years of the success of Like A Virgin. This week 20 years ago the song reached the number one spot in the Us chart and our friend Dye Another Day has sent in a scan of the original Us 7″ single to commemorate the “event”.

Our friend Steve says: “This is a scan of my copy of the 45 r.p.m. single of “Like a Virgin.” That’s right, folks – vinyl! This is over 20 years old. The back is too dark to scan – it’s a grey paisley print – but the flip-side was “Stay.” I wish I could say that I bought this myself when it came out, but this was a gift from someone who bought it at a collectible store. (Yes, I have nice friends!)”
