The day we met Madonna

Our friend Lizzy wants to share her story and memorabilia pictures from the day she met Madonna at Barnes & Noble in September 2003.

My mother and I won the phone lottery and it was a dream come true. I waited 20 years to meet Madonna and just to know my children got a chance to meet her too was awsome. Madonna shook their little hands and said hello to them. She said to my 2 year old ‘you have a lot of pretty jewelery’ and then to my 3 year old you ‘have a lot of pretty jewelery like your sister’.
It was a amazing feeling. I was sooo high off of life at that moment. My children were on tv (access hollywood and E!), our names were in the New York Times . It was great. That was a day I will never ever forget. In the picture provided you see my oldest daughter in her pink shirt. Thank you. Lizzy”
