The Perfect Choice

Madonna was being considered to play the role of French-Egyptian born singer Dalida in a Tv Movie.

The film, that will air on France2 next month, is the story of the loved singer that ended up killing herself a few years ago.

Pascale Breugnot, the French producer of the film confessed to newspaper Le Parisien that at one moment they thought asking Madonna if she might have been interested in the part as she would have been “the perfect choice“.

But convincing the “Material Girl” would have been “too complicated”, Breugnot admits so the part was ultimately proposed to Italian actress Sabrina Ferilli.
