Madonna drops from #1 to #2 in the world albums chart, leaving the first place to japanese singer Ken Irai who has just published a collection of his works that sold 806,000 copies last week.
“Confessions On A Dance Floor” sells 671,000 copies this week that makes a total of 1,904,000 copies in two weeks.
Speaking of singles, with a 5% increase to 545.000 points, Madonna’s “Hung Up” sets a new high-water mark in
the history of the global track chart.
The gap between #1 and #.2 is immense: Robbie Williams’ “Tripping” holds the no.2 position with 265.000 points followed by “My Humps” from the Black Eyed Peas climbing two slots at #3 (245.000 points).
