Too crazy to comprehend

The UK press keeps raising interest in Jem, the latest singing sensation to emerge from Wales that hopes her debut single will hit the top spot this week.

And each time this young talent is interviewed about her story and her music, it looks impossible to avoid some questions about the song for which Jem is known among the Madonna fans, Nothing Fails, that she wrote with producer Guy Sigsworth before it ended on the “American Life” album.

“It was just too crazy to comprehend,” Jem said last Saturday when asked about how she felt when Madonna selected her song. “It was just so incredible.”
