Transport and Meteo for Live8 London
Here’s a couple information we hope will be helpful for Tribers who have planned to attend the London concert of Live 8 where Madonna will be performing on Saturday, July 2.
As usual for any major event, Transport for London is distributing a special leaflet
with every information on travelling to and from the concert in Hyde Park. Please keep in mind that leaving the venue is generally more difficult and time consuming than getting there and that the underground stations closest to the concert area such as Queensway, Lancaster Gate, Marble Arch and Hyde Park Corner are either closed or do no grant entry after the show.
General travel advice is available at stations, bus stations and travel information centres and a pdf copy of the leaflet and up-to-the-minute details can be obtained from tfl.gov.uk/live8
And if you are wondering about how the weather will be on Saturday, metcheck.com has a webpage displaying how they expect it to develop during the concert hours. At the present time the forecast is partly cloudy with a temperature spanning from 17° to 20° Celsius.
