Tribers report from the documentary premiere
Our Forum member Tk2 just got back from the documentray premiere tonight and took some times to tell fellow tribers how was it like.
“Madonna looked amazing! She gave a long speech which was very nice! she thanked all us crazy fans who slept outside Koko and she said she loved us!!!!
The movie was amazing (as we all know), seeing the live performances on the big screen was super amazing!!!
Lots of celebs: Gwyneth Platrow, Stella McCartney, Sharleen Spiteri from Texas, Mel C, Jo Whiley, Guy Oseary, Jonas Akerlund of course.
Also the two French Algerian dancers from her recents gigs and the “Hung Up” video and Stuart Price. There were others but i only remember these!
It’s the first time I see the last bit of the movie, it was cut short for the two hours MTV slot. My honest opinion was that it was better without those extra segments, because to me it made Kabbalah look like a cult, with all those dancing and jumping up and down and going around in circles!!! Oh well!
Great experience soooooo happy to be there and seeing all those familiar faces.
Special thanks to Tk2
“Just got back too, after the most surreal night of my life” – Daniel writes. “I rushed past the worlds press who were expecting to see Madonna, looking like some crazed stalker as I arrived after the doors were meant to close.
Highlight for me had to be seeing fellow Tribers (as always!!), but Madonna was good too haha. She joked at one point that the dress she was wearing probably cost more than the movie, which made us laugh. She thanked everyone involved, and told us that Channel 4 were very supportive of her creative vision “only bleeping two motherf***rs and a f*ck”.
The movie was of course spectacular, and we gave a round of applause after the performances which was very cool. As I arrived late my goody bag had already been eaten (!) which was alarming, but I was still living off raw energy from the journey at that time. Thankfully a kindly Triber gave me a packet of crisps for the homeward journey, otherwise I’d have been fighting with the drunk on the bus for a half eaten McDonalds on the way home.
Fantastic night, and thanks again to fellow Tribers for their ecstatic interventions in the process!
Special thanks to Daniel

Madonna made a great speech at the beginning and the film itself was amazing! Concert footgae rocked! Funniest of all was seeing Gwenyth Paltrow on the stairs right behind me!! Have included a quick snap for you all.
