A closer look to ”Get Together” videos
There’s a chance that fans will have a nice surprise tonight when the “Get Together” video premieres on Channel4 in the UK.
Madonna and her team have been working on two different versions of the videoclip – one meant to be streamed on the internet, and another for television. Both versions have been developed from already existing material. From live appearances, as first reported in May by MadonnaTribe News or promotional footage; everything new comes from post-production and digital effects, as “Get Together” is not a studio video as M-Tribe reported at the beginning of last month.
The version that is now streaming on the VH1 website is based on her Koko Club performance, that has been spiced up with the help of cartoon effects – giving a bright and sparly look to the clip.
In the past weeks, Warners have been waiting for Madonna’s final decision about which version of the “Get Together” clip was going to be streamed online, and which one was going to be distributed to TV networks – actually the two versions of the clip swapped places a few times already.
So there’s a chance that we’ll see a different version of the clip tonight on UK tv – although this has not been confirmed at the moment and remains what it is, a nice chance.
