A Tribute To Madonna

Many Madonna fans have certainly bought in the past Virgin Voices, a Madonna Tribute project by renowned artists, divided into two cds originally released in the United States on the Cleopatra Record label in 1999 and 2000.

A European low priced re-release of this project, renamed “Like A Virgin – A Tribute To Madonna“, has just been issued by Double Pleasure records as double cd set and it’s now available in selected music shops in Europe and on online music stores.

With a total of 28 tracks (14 on each cd), A Tribute To Madonna is a nice collection of re-invented Madonna songs. Among our personal favorites we would to point out the catchy dance version of Like A Prayer by Loletta Holloway, the haunting version of Open Your Heart by the late Ofra Haza, Bad Girl featuring Boy George and a nice version of Why It’s So Hard by british band Dead Or Alive.
