The panel of music, art, theatre, cinema and culture events that will take place in Rome during the Summer season is known as “Estate Romana“, and the calendar of this year’s edition had just been announced.

The Madonna concert at the Stadio Olimpico is presented as one of the highlights of the Summer season in Rome, and the press today has put some extra hype on it, using images from the “Confessions Tour” to illustrate their report.

Meeting the media yesterday to announce the “Estate Romana 2006” festival, major Walter Veltroni also mentioned the Madonna concert – the only stop of her tour in Italy.
