Best Selling Single and Album for Madonna in Greece’s ”Arion” Awards

Madonna’s “Hung Up” and “Confessions On A Dance Floor” were named Best Selling Single and Album respectively for selling the most copies in 2005 at this year’s “Arion“, the most prestiguous awards in Greece.

Both awards were presented by all time Best Selling Female singer Nana Mouschouri. When Mrs Mouschouri was asked how she feels having sold more copies (in total) than Madonna she sweetly acknowledged Madonna’s pioneering career and noted that if it wasn’t for piracy, Madonna would have been the Ultimate Number 1.
