British crooner Tony Christie defends Madonna

British crooner Tony Christie has recently addressed critics attacking Madonna for adopting Malawian baby David. Christie who adopted a daughter at birth says Madonna should be praised.
“No one enters into adoption lightly, these children are special and very much wanted” he says. “I find it hard to believe that anyone would go to such extents for a publicity stunt. It is ludicrous. It’s a shame that such a wonderful act has turned into a mass public cat fight. Madonna should stop justifying her actions and be left to get on with it.”
