”Can you imagine what me and the Bush man would be talking about?”
Thanks to M-Tribe Community member Ndirish for this report from the second “Confessions Tour” show in Miami.
“She started right before 9:00, again, about 8:55. I was on the floor section 4 row 10. I got to see and say hello to Angela Becker and Ingrid Casares who were both seated by the sound mixing board at the back of the floor. Angela was very nice and waved back hello.
The crowd was really into it tonight, and the
stage & bars for Jump did work and came down on time
tonight for Madonna and her dancers. She messed up on the lyrics to “Let It Will Be“, two times. She said, “Fuck!” and went on to sing, “Now I’m supposed to
remember the words to end this song.” Very cute and funny, the crowd loved it! She asked us if we forgave her and of course we all shouted, “YES!”
During another point in the show, she said to the front row, “What does that sign say?” and she went on to say, “I need my glasses!” She was really into the crowd and especially the floor sections, way more than the first Miami show.
The best part of the night was before “Drowned World“, during her monologue, she said how hot it was in the arena, and she thinks “global warming has
started in Miami!” “I need to have a word with Mr. Bush about it.” She asked the us, “Who wants to come with me to the White House for that?” The crowd went
wild! “Can you imagine what me and the Bush man would be talking about?” she went on to say. “I’m just getting an orgasm thinking about what I would tell him!” She finished saying on that. She seemed very
pleased with the second Miami crowd tonight.
During “Hung Up“, she mentioned how her right side of the floor section “redeemed themselves” during the “Time goes by so slowly part” and by also telling them “very good!”
Before the show I meet some wonderful MTV & ICON front row winners at will call two, hi you guys if your
reading this!
I also got to meet one of the dancers who has his brother on tour with Madonna as well, very nice guy. I asked him if him and the other dancers were going to Tracy Young’s Pawn Shop After Party, he
said no, that they were all going to a private party with Madonna after the show. They will
all get a break this week before the start the tour again in Cardiff next week, he also told me.
A bad part for me was how tight the floor security was, and the rude male ushers. The female ushers were sweeties and I
talked to a lot of them before the show. The male ushers, were just horrible, by not letting anyone move up closer to bars, or going up during the last song “Hung Up” to at least get a golden balloon.
Unlike in LA, and NYC, whom I had some friends attend recently and tell me, those other ushers let you move up closer and stay at the bars if you had a floor seat, like I did. Or they wouldn’t let you go up closer to take pictures and go back to your floor seat, nothing. I did get my two balloons, but had to fight off folks for them, and almost being squashed right in front of the main catwalk after the show by fans and ushers.
