Fox Serbia announced three days ago that they will broadcast the “Confessions Tour from London” on New Year’s Eve at 9.30 PM (local time).

It’s 10.10 PM now in Serbia, New Year’s Eve, and Madonna’s breathtaking show is being broadcasted by Fox Serbia, a very young channel which obviously decided to make itself popular very soon after getting its licence over here.

Although there are surely not many people in their homes in Serbia tonight, and those who are will surely not spend the night watching this particular concert (not because it’s not good, but simply because there is a totally different musical tradition for New Year’s Eve), we can still hope that those interested will have a chance to watch it again in some (and let’s hope Fox Serbia is THAT smart) of it’s reruns.

The thing that is interesting about this particular broadcast is that it is being presented in the same edit as the Channel 4 one: In 4:3 fullscreen (although personally, I like more the 16:9 original format) and WITH the crucifixion-scene during Live to Tell (I just watched it), and surely the swearing during I Love New York, the finger during Sorry and the hand-hand-down-the-pants-and-lick-the-finger during Let It Will Be will follow.

But like the Channel 4 edit lacked Drowned World, Paradise, Lucky Star, the first half of the Isaac-intro, and the first half of the intro for La isla Bonita (yes, that one was cut too, a thing not many people noticed, obviously), this one will surely miss those parts too.

Still, Viewers in Serbia (who don’t surf through the Internet like some of us and download everything they can get about Madge) are lucky to be one of those who have the chance to see this concert on TV, which is still a totally different experience than watching it on a PC-monitor.
