David Gurland from the hit theatre show Neurotica is back
Award winning artists Randi Driscoll and David Gurland together again for two special nights. David and Randi will be sharing the stage for the first time, since their sold out performance at Odette?s in the fall of 2005
Randi?s original music has been featured in films, commercials and the hit series Dawson?s Creek. Her song “What Matters” has raised more than $35,000 dollars for the Matthew Shepard Foundation, whose goal is to replace hate with understanding, compassion and acceptance. “What Matters” is featured on the new HRC release “Love Rocks“, which includes tracks by Christina Aguilera, Pink, Dolly Parton and others.
David Gurland has performed in and for sold-out houses at first class New York venues. For his nightclub and cabaret performances, David has won the Manhattan Association of Cabaret’s HANSON AWARD, as well as having been nominated an additional five times. He has also won three Back Stage BISTRO AWARDS, more than any other Male Vocalist. In his most recent endeavor, he enraptured New York audiences in 2005 with NEUROTICA – an all Madonna mini Rock Concert, to rave reviews and packed houses. For his 3rd return to Odette’s, David will likely perform selections from some of his past endeavors , including songs by Madonna, Michael Holland and Carly Simon, with award winning songwriter and musical director Tim Di Pasqua at the piano.
