More updates to the tour blog from Donna De Lory, Madonna’s backing singer, on her official fan site donnadelory.net .

This time not only Donna has written a new entries to her blog from New York City, but her beautifully graced singing partner Nicki also added a few lines, making the first time Madonna fans get to hear from the “Confessions Tour” new backing singer.

” I am here now at Madison square garden and there is such an excitement in the air. It feels like opening night in a way. The band is starting to sound check and I am just imaging how the crowd will be tonight. I can’t wait to sing ”I Love New York”. There is no place like New York!” Donna writes.

“Let me tell you, 50 Madison Square Gardens couldn’t contain all the love and excitement I’m feeling tonight, being here in my hometown and all. ”I Love New York”, indeed, just like our girl says! I know how hard this place is gonna rock tonight and I am on fire” Nicki adds.
