Extra trains for Cardiff ”Confessions”
Extra trains are being put on for fans travelling to the Madonna concert at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff later this month.
First Great Western‘s high speed train services will run between London Paddington, Swansea and Cardiff Central throughout the day.
To help get fans home after the concert has finished, three additional high speed train services will run from Cardiff to Swansea.
Phil West, First Great Western’s Special Events Manager, said: “We’re expecting the concert to be a big draw.”
“Most fans will come from the South and West Wales areas and that’s where we’re strengthening our services.”
“We are not expecting large numbers of people to travel from further afield and those that do are likely to stay overnight and travel home the next day.”
