Madonna treated her Russian fans with a cool surprise at the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow tonight. In the break between “Let It Will Be” and “Drowned World” when she usually has her “speech” moment with the crowd, she sung part of John Lennon’s “Give Peace A Chance“, joined on stage by her entire crew – dancers and managers included.

It was a touching moment even if the interaction with the crowd didn’t work at its best because of the different language. Madonna also added that she has been in the show business for 24 years and coming to Russia had always been her dream – which obviously drove the crowd mad.
