Huge update from the world charts
After leaving the spotlight on the new Madonna video and Grammy performance, MadonnaTribe’s Pierpinto is back with his updates compiled with data and sales figures from the charts all over the world. Here are the most significative news:
In Ireland, “Sorry reaches the top of the airplay chart.
“Confessions” can be found as 4xPlatinum (4×15,000=60,000 units shipped) in the certification list for year 2005 just published by IRMA (Irish Recorded Music Association).
In Greece, “Confessions” has been going up 14 places in the last couple of weeks and is now at #2 in their Comprehensive Album Chart.
As previously reported, “Hung Up” spent its week no 13 on top of the Singles Chart of Italy, setting a new record for Madonna in the country, beating the 12 weeks of “Who’s That Girl“.
“Hung Up” keeps leading the download chart in France since 15 weeks.
