JupiterDude review of Atlantic City show
Our community member JupiterDude
has just submitted his review of the “Confessions” show from Atlantic
City last night. Here’s what he has to say:
“My friend Jeanine and I drove down to AC from Philly yesterday afternoon to
catch the show. We attended the ICON preparty at Cuba Libre at the
Tropicana and met some cool fan club members. Afterwards we walked up the
Boardwalk to Boardwalk Hall. We decided to walk around the venue before
going in and ran into three of the dancers which was a fun surprise!
We were in Section 1, Row 9 seats 5 and 6. There were about ten people
separating us from the catwalk unfortunately. No matter- we knew we were in
for the show of our lives, having caught it in Philly the week before.
Madonna was in rare form Sunday night! From the opening of Future Lovers
she was non stop! When she ascended the mechanical horse for Like A Virgin
she was right in front of us about 10 feet up, doing her thing! She made
eye contact with us down on the floor quite a few times and we showed our
love by screaming our faces off and throwing our arms up into the air!
Other highlights – Ray of Light, I Love New York – she ROCKED THE HOUSE
!!! The Sorry Interlude is a total mind f – – k up close! Disco
Inferno/Music, Lucky Star and Hung Up ….. the show was a non stop
party. She sounded amazing during Drowned World and Paradise/Not For Me
many of us singing along with her with our hands up in the air….. I’m
still in my warm ‘aftershow afterglow’
Particularly amusing was her giving attitude to the MANY people around us
who were sitting down throughout! One guy was in the second row against the
catwalk and had a mug on his face the whole night. She let him know!!!! We
were also amused by the old couple in front of us who left after ‘I Love
New York’ because it was… ‘too loud’…
All in all a fantastic night at the Jersey shore! Thanks Madonna, we love
you!
