Lollapalooza’s report from Moscow
Our Community member Lollapalooza is just back from Madonna’s concert in Moscow. Here is an excerpt of what he posted in our Forum.
It was really the best show of the tour – she gave her all to this performance. It was flawless. Madonna was in a fantastic mood and showed lots of respect to Russia and fans. It was very special.
There were pretty many crazy things surrounding the concert – like a zeppelin flying over a stadium a few times before the show, several lines of security, etc. But that made it even more fun and special too.
We could hear the sound-check before entering the stadium, she did Like A Virgin, Erotica, Paradise, I Love New York. When the crowd started entering she was still rehearsing I Feel Love!!! Don’t know if she was still on stage when first people made it to the field.
Paul Oakenfold was very good this time, he inclueded some Russian songs in his set and it was unusual and sounded cool!
As for the “Give peace a chance” song and the speech, when Jamsey is back you might want to check his site. He told me after the show that it was indeed the best show of the tour. It was a huge and nice surprise.
I need some sleep. It was emotional – my last Confessions show, a perfect finale!
Special thanks to Lollapalooza.
