M Memorabilia in a new benefit auction
A benefit acution is running until July 10th on the Italian ebay website www.ebay.it to substain LILA – Lega Italiana per la Lotta contro l’Aids – by selling a series of memorabilia and collectables that include a rare poster created for the World Aids Day 2000, with a picture of Madonna by David LaChapelle.
The 48×63 cm poster reads:
Aids cares not
“Aids cares not what you think, or what you do, your color, or your race, if you’re up or down, if you’re a prince or a pauper, where you’ve come from, or where you’re going, aids has never seen the blue sky or felt the summer sun, aids has never said, “I’m sorry”, or that “I care”, aids cares not if you vote, if you watch Letterman or Leno, if you understand, or if you don’t, if you’ve been bad or good, aids never cries, never smiles, aids has no friends, not one.”
Starting bid prices is 1 euro only.
Proceeds of the auction will support the activity of LILA – the Italian League in the fight against AIDS.
