Maddey79’s report from the first Miami show
Thanks to M-Tribe Community member Maddey79 for posting his report from last night’s first “Confessions” show in Miami in our Tour Forum.
“Just got back from the first of the two Miami shows, WOW what a SHOW!
First off the weather, thankfully was nice/okay by early evening, which was good because it was nasty all day. After we parked are car and started walking up to the Arena we noticed some crazy guy outside the Arena with a bull horn telling everyone that we were going to hell/and that Madonna was such a horrible person, and homosexuals were going straight to hell.
Not the best way to start the evening, but we ignored him and moved on – we didn’t what to give him what he wanted: Attention.
After we got through, we bought some goodies (I got the cross shirt, and the charm bracelet, I was very excited they made them for Miami).
Next we found our seats. Wow were they awsome, dead center in front of the center catwalk, row 5. The first row of our section Gloria Estefan and her husband and daughter, she seemed really nice took lots of pictures with fans. And right next to them Madonna’s brother, I’m thinking it was Christopher. I heard Ricky Martin was there, but I didn’t see him. Oh, and Ingrid Casares too.
On with the show! It started at 9:00, loved the opening. I couldn’t believe when the disco ball finally came down how close it was, I couldn’t believe how close I was going to be, and then it opened and she looked amazing, with a beautiful smile.
The crowd was okay, I guess, I have nothing to compare it to (but I’ll be at tomorrow nights show , so I’ll have a better feeling then).
Everyone seemed to stand the entire show (excluding “Drowned World” & “Paradise”).
During “ILNY” she said the “Suck George Bush D**K” line. Before “Drowned World”, she said how she used to live in Miami, and all the fun she used have, and how she wanted to have fun tonight (or something along those lines, I have a horrible memory).
She wore the cowboy hat during “Let It Will Be”, I think she was wearing the new “sparkley” leotard for “Hung Up”. She was doing the “that’s the way…I Like it” for the “time goes by so slowly” part of “Hung Up”.
Overall, great night, can’t wait for tomorow nights show, just hoping for a little more enthusiasm from the crowd.”
