Madonna in the Billboard Charts this week
PierPinto brings you the usual closer look at how the new Madonna album and single did in the Billboard Charts last week (Issue dated February 4-2006).
After debuting two weeks ago at #12, “Sorry” goes up from #6 to #3 in the Hot Dance Airplay.
“Hung Up” goes down only two places from #43 to #45 in the Hot 100 Singles. Downloads were 20,569 last week – a few units more than the week before – and the track goes down from #22 to #29 in the Hot Digital Songs. The single sells 1,172 phisical copies and remains steady at #2 in the Hot 100 Singles Sales.

TOTAL SINGLES=28,950
“Confessions” goes dwon from #20 to #24 selling 25,600 copies, making a total of 1,203,833 per Nielsen Soundscan.
