Madonna is #8 in this years Forbes’ Celebrity 100

Madonna is back in the annual “The Celebrity 100” list compiled by Forbes magazine after a year of absence.

This year the Queen of Pop scores a Power Rank of 8, with a $50 mil pay (rank #11), 3,100,000 web hits (rank #5), 13,488 press clips (rank #30) and 268 in TV/Radio (rank 19). Surprisingly, she has never appeared on the cover of any of 17 major consumer magazines considered for this list.

Madonna tops the Musicians category ahead of Elton John (Power Rank #9) and P Diddy (Power Rank #20).

She is also the second female celebrity to make the Top Ten, which is lead by Oprah Winfrey who goes up to #1 from last year’s #3.

On the magazine’s website there are also two polls running, both featuring Madonna in their options. They are “Who can’t you get enough of?” and “Who do you get too much of?”
