Thanks to the one and only Ditas Little Lamb for sharing her memories of Madonna’s opening concert in Cardiff last Sunday.

“My friend and I went to see Madonna perform in the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff last night 30 July.

It was my 4th Madonna concert and, although I knew it wouldn’t exceed the last Madonna concert I went to (Re-Invention August 2004 FRONT ROW), yet again I was completely blown away by her on stage presence and WOW such energy, I danced and sung the entire show and I went back to my hotel absolutely shattered!!

There was such a buzz around the city centre. All the bars and clubs were full of concert goers. To walk into every bar and hear either her music playing or listening to people talking about her brought a lump to my throat.

We entered the stadium around 6.30pm. We managed to get quite far up the pitch, not far from the middle catwalk. About 8.15pm I looked around the whole stadium and saw that it was full and just thought that all these people have come to see my idol OMG.

For me, the moment I become uncontrolable is when the lights go down – I go crazy. As always, Madonna delivered an amazing, high energy entertainment show. At the moment I can’t give you my highlights, I’ve only been home a couple of hours and I’m still on could nine!

After following this lady for 22 years, I will never be bored of her – MADONNA IS THE BEST.”
