Madonna sets Millennium Stadium on fire
Madonna opened the European leg of her “Confessions Tour” tonight in Cardiff performing for a packed Millennium Stadium.
The show started a few minutes after 8.30 PM and went on flawlessly for about two hours, with Madonna performing the exact same setlist we already know and with no costume changes.
Speaking to the audience Madonna said she was very happy to be in Europe, that she was very emotional, that she doesn’t like those who sit down at her shows and that seeing all of her fans dancing like crazy made her feel good.
People have been impressed by how high the stage rises from the stadium pitch level, making it difficult for those in the very front to have a good sight of the show. We’ve heard that Madonna herself was not particularly happy of this excessive height and the distance that separate her from her fans, and have asked to try to lower the stage platform a bit in her future stadium concerts.
