Madonna‘s eight Wembley Arena sell-out concerts have trumped Billy Joel‘s 12-night stand at New York’s Madison Square Garden to top the highest Billboard Boxscore gross of 2006.
Madonnna’s August concerts at Wembley grossed over $22 million – $3 million more than Luis Miguel‘s run of shows at Mexico City’s Auditorio Nacional and Joel’s record-breaking stand in New York. Source: www.Teenmusic.com
