This is also the first time Madonna has two singles from the same album hitting the top spot since the True Blue era, when the “True Blue” single (three weeks at #1), “Papa Don’t Preach” (#1 for one week) and “La Isla Bonita” (#1 for two weeks) did all reach the top of the UK singles chart.
