Mighty Real Fan Review!
“What a night. Madonna – You make me feel, miiiiiiiighty real!”, says our forum member Daniel/rayoliteuk.
“She missed the odd line, bounced in the wrong place every once in a while but generally strutted around like she was queen of the universe so who was going to complain!”

The crowd were bouncing, a complete change from London’s Reinvention Tour and Drowned World. Everyone seemed so goddamn determined to have a good time, even the guy in front who had clearly been dragged by his son and wife clapped, jumped, whopped and laughed after having spent the 20 minutes looking like it was going to be sheer torture.
I’ve grown to love the new Like A Virgin, and only wish the poll dancing music was more prominent. Isaac too is growing in my estimation, from a track I liked but could have skipped to a real defining moment in the show. As I was ill in Cardiff, I’d missed La Isla Bonita before and I love the new mix even if my friends had wished it drowned at birth.
Wembley security were scarily human like, allowing people to take pictures (!), to move about (!) although they were good enough to move in when people climbed on their chairs for a better look Her Madgesty (you’re already in row 6 fool !!!). It’s the third time I’ve been since the refurbishment, and it really is growing on me. Only gripe is the mystery of 3 female to 1 male toilet, and even those seem to be unmarked and unloved on the signs.
Back to the show though, and I love, love, love the dance routine for You Thrill Me. Another one I missed to being ill, the mix, the moves, the mood were perfect and she writhed, danced, grinded and wound like a good girl gone bad. Music still doesn’t deserve the video formerly used for Let it Will Be, but again it was a real showstopper. Hell, every song can be described thus. Well, except Like It or Not which isn’t so good.
All in all, a great night and looking forward to seeing it from some different angles now!
