Moby and Madonna
Singer Moby explains this week in Spanish magazine Shangay Express that Madonna was at one point contacted to be the guest artist on his new song New York, New York, just released on his greatest compilation: Go, The Very Best Of Moby.
“I decided to include just one unreleased track on my compilation. It’s called ‘New York, New York‘ and at first I immediately thought of Debbie Harry as the perfect artist to sing it. But at the time she couldn’t do it. So later I offered it to Madonna, but she said she was also very busy with promoting her record and her tour. Luckily, Debbie changed her mind,” Moby told the magazine.
