Montreal’s Rythme FM radio station host Mike Gauthier conducted a shot a telephone interview with a spokeperson from Groupe Gillette – the promoter of every major concert in town.

He mentioned that Madonna will be performing in Montreal on June 21 and the date is apparently confirmed, with June 22 being “on hold” as they will see if the ticket sale goes well before starting selling the second show.

They added that the long awaited official announcement for the tour should take place on this next monday April 3 with tickets going on sale the following saturday April 8.

The rumoured price range for the Montreal show (in Canadian dollars) is 110$, 185$ and around 300$.

They also said that the announcement for the tour has been delayed because they had to conclude every city and the European leg of the tour was the last one to be concluded.

Since no official word has been released by Madonna’s camp so far they say they can’t make an announcement for Montreal yet, but since they get a thousand calls every day about this tour, they wanted to share the few details they are allowed to tell.
