Just home from the 2nd Chicago show…and my 2nd time seeing the Confessions Tour. This is all I have to say:

Mariah, Celine, Britney, Christina, Cher, Barbara, U2, the Stones, Bruce, and Kylie: Just quit now. Hang up your hats. Call it a day. You can all retire now because the greatest show on earth (and I mean greatest) has just taken place. No one, ever, can top Madonna.

I’m not even sure how she can top herself after her performance tonight. Spot on, energetic, playful, having the time of her life (in front of her Dad), and delivering the most amazing show I have ever seen.

She was more chatty last night than I have ever seen her on her other 2 tours. There were some people on her left side on the floor that weren’t dancing & she said are you too good for me? Why did you even come to the show if you aren’t going to have a good time?

She said parents were in the audience & she wanted us to dance & have fun so that they would know that she made something of her life.

The two biggest surprises for me were “Ray of Light” and “Sorry”. The audience went nuts for these two songs. Everyone was jumping during “Ray of Light” like she asked us to.

I love the gold balloons that she drops at the end of the show. It is so cool that they have “Madonna Confessions Tour” wrote on them. A nice little souvenier.

I took my mom to that show and she saw Madonna for the very first time. She liked it and had a good time as well as I did. She seemed very conservative tonight. She said F off instead of say the word and she sang just go to Texas, isn’t where there play golf instead of sucking George Bush’s dick. I think it was because her dad was there, a known George Bush supporter.

What a show. I was in section 306 last night so a bit far away from. I can’t wait til sunday when I will be closer in section 101 and I’m trying to get even better seats.

I lost my voice from singing and screaming
I loved “Erotica”, “La Isla Bonita”, and the whole “Hung Up” tease during “Lucky Star”. It had me gagging!
