More Madonna in Robbie’s Rudebox

The are more references to the Queen of Pop in the latest album by Robbie Williams.

A lot has been written about the Pet Shop boys-produced track “She’s Madonna“, but we’ve just learnt that there’s another tongue-in-cheek reference to Mrs. Ritchie in another song off Robbie’s upcoming album.

“The Actor“, one of the highlights of the album produced by Brandon Christy and Craig Russo in pure electroclash style that Robbie describes as “about living in LA, and how it has given me little respect for the acting profession”, contains indeed a list of actors spelled in a way that will remind you strongly of what Madonna did in her “Vogue“.

And as it was not enough, here are a few of the names Robbie includes…. “Monroe, Barry Moore, Mainsfield, Judy Dench, Madonna Ritchie“… and you will hear “Ritchie” echoed three more times…
