NBC releases a statement about Live To Tell

NBC today released a statement to it’s affiliates regarding the broadcast of Confessions Tour.

“The ‘Live to Tell’ song has been revised for NBC’s broadcast
special,” the network said in a statement to affiliates Thursday. NBC
thanked affiliates for their patience as the network worked through
details on the decision.
Another NBC site uses this wording:
NBC officials announced that the “Live to Tell” song that featured Madonna singing on the cross will be revised and not feature her on the cross in the broadcast special.

What NBC means by “revised” is unknown.
