Here are some more One Song stories from Madonna fans all over the world.
• Hello, my name is Israel I have been a Madonna fan ever since I can remember. I have many songs that I love from Madonna throughout her career and each one has a very special meaning for me, but one that song that really help me out to make a decision was Jump… on the place I was working at I was being very unhappy and full of stress, for some reason I could not leave the place but I was sick and tired of not seeing future in there, when I heard Jump when she sings “There is so much you can learn in one place , the more that I wait the more time that I waste …. I have not that much time to waste it is time to make my way I am not afraid of what I’ll face but I am afraid to stay… I’m working and fighting to find a place of my own it was like a wake up call and it was the kick in the rear that I needed to finally leave. ever since I have been very happy and successful
and oh boy did I find my way out!!! Thank you Madonna for so many beautiful songs that inspire us, guide us, and make us come together.

• “I feel it, it’s coming,” Rain begins with a wonderful settling tune and the sound of rain pattering down on a window…before the song drops and Madonna sings the fabulous chorus “Rain, feel it on my fingertips , hear it on the window pane, your loves coming down like…Rain”
1993 bought another fantastic song from Madonna, but for me it also bought a fantastic person into my life….and this One Song is The Song, is Our Song!!!
We had both come out of relationships and were at very low points in our lifes,at first we were just friends, travelling up and down the country to go out together, wining and dining, and clubbing…..but the best of all was I had got tickets to ‘The Girlie Show‘ in London. He had never been to a concert before, let alone one at Wembly Stadium. This was to be my second Madonna concert and boy was this going to be special. When Madonna Sat centre stage and sang those words with Nikki and Donna we both just stood there in amazement arm in arm, we cried… I knew from that moment that i wanted him to “surrender to me, to love”. The words to the second verse are excellent, and the best part of the song, very rich and full of life.
But for me the spoken section of the whole song is full of excellence and beauty…”Waiting is the hardest thing,Its strange i feel like i’ve known you before,i tell myself if i believe in you, and i want to understand you.in the dream of you, more and more, all my heart and all my soul.i will raise you from the ground, everything strange.and without a sound you’ll appear.i feel like a child, and surrender to me …to love” To understand this verse you have to listen to the way Madonna speaks it in the song, to read the lyrics is a bit mixed up.But as clear as day when you listen to the song.
This whole song bought a new love into my life, and Kevin did surrender to me to love. Now 13 years on and we are still as magical as we were then…..i still feel his love coming down like….Rain!
