Philly Hat Guy : Best Night Of My Life
And here it is, full experience and amazing pics from someone who – from now on – we better call “Philly Hat Guy“.
Fellow Tribers
Last night I attended the show at the Wachovia Center in Philadelphia.
Madonna’s people asked if I would mind giving her my hat to use during “Let It Will Be.”
All I could think is, Of course she can have my hat, she could have my underwear if she wanted it. At this point I was seated in Section 1 Row 21 Seats 15. People in the last few seats are supposed to be able to line the gate surrounding the catwalk. Some people, however, did not belong there.
But that’s not important. During the “Sorry” remix, the same guy who asked me before, came over to me with some tall dude. They told me to make my way out towards the other side, where someone would meet you.
After a few minutes of waiting, the tall British dude walks me to row 3 and tells me to push my way through. Understandably, some people were very unhappy with this. When I made it to the end, close to the stairs on the catwalk, the Wachovia security people begin to yell at me to go back.
Meanwhile the tall British dude is waving for me to stay. After a few moments of this, the guy who had asked me in the beginning of the night, popped up from the side of the catwalk and told the guard I needed to be there. I sarcastically thanked the Wachovia security and made sure my finger made its way to their face.
So somewhere in the middle of “Let It Will Be”, it happened.
She took my hat, but she took my hat after rubbing my arm, for what was not more than 2 seconds but felt like five minutes.
Here eyes were beautiful, and she smiled when I screamed in her face. Needless to say she threw the hat into the audience, I thought I would never see it again.
On the way out, a girl who had been sitting near me in row 21, around where the hat landed, gave it back to me. Madonna fans rock!
“And here is a pic of my group of friends and I outside of Wachovia Center.
A and I have the hat on”.
Special thanks to Philly Hat Guy.
