“Hi everybody!
I’d like to share my experience of this ‘Confessions World Tour‘ with all of you… My friends Antonio and Massimo and I saw the 2 last Madonna’s concerts in Paris and they really were amazing even if I found them so similar to Drowned and re-invention‘ tours…!!
We are from Sardinia and in Paris we were very closed to the stage so we saw her so clear and she looked at us different times with a big smile! A strange thing happened to me those days. Two months ago, because of an accident, I broke my leg and I still have to walk with crutches, so, in Bercy there was a special entrance for people who had problems like mine so I went there and a person of the security helped me to take the elevator to go to my seat in unreserved side stage seats for 2 nights…but, to do that, I had to pass across the back-stage so I saw all the dancers eating the first night and the second one stretching before the show!
The most incredible thing is that I also saw Madonna’s dressing-room (it was closed) and I can’t still believe it…Anyway, when I was passing in the back-stage everyone was really kind to me and it will be a nice memory… The 31st August the crowd was really hot, our side more than the others I can say (!) and when Lenny Kravitz appeared on stage to perform ‘I Love NY’ with her everyone went crazy, me too even if I couldn’t dance too much because of the pain of my leg…but I did it!! The same night, after Hung Up, she left the stage and passed just under our seats so we called her and she looked at us smiling and waving to all of us with a very and honest big smile!!
The only thing I didn’t like about Madonna’ shows in Paris is when she asked us to show our flags, she saw the Italian ones different times
but she only mentioned the ones around it and now, once again, I can say she doesn’t like Italy so much… in fact, for example, I noticed she isn’t so easy-going in interviews with Italian journalists and she didn’t do promotional tour here, etc… and I don’t know why… Italian fans know what I mean… I’ve been her fan since I was 7 and now I’m 29 and I can understand when she likes or not something even if she doesn’t say it…but it’s strange she asked us to show flags snobbing the Italian one and finishing saying something like that ‘we are one, we are the same… fuck George Bush…etc etc…’ but maybe, a day, I will know why she doesn’t like my land… well,it’s not important actually and if it is true what I think I’m sure she has her reasons… but, I repeat, listening to her saying all the countries without mentioning mine really hurt me at that moment…
However, we really enjoyed those concerts that we will never forget! Ok, that’s enough, here are some pics I took there during the two concerts in Paris… I hope you like them!
I am the one in the middle of the pic, on the left Massimo and on the right Antonio!
Regards!
