Red carpet in Rome for Luc Besson and ”Arthur”
There was an unusual red carpet event at the Rome Film Fest yesterday, when director Luc Besson, accompanied by 150 young jurors of the Alice nella citt? section, walked down the carpet towards the Sala Sinopoli, to a screening of the premiere of the Making of and trailers of Besson’s tenth film, Arthur et le Minimoys, which will be released throughout the world at Christmas and in Italy next February.
Along with the screening of this exclusive video material, journalist Federico Taddia read passages from Besson’s book, published in Italy under the title Arthur e il popolo dei Minimei, upon which his film is based. The event took place in the presence of the 150 children who will choose the winning film and book of the Alice nella citt? section, a festival within the festival dedicated to the youngest audiences, which feature a film and literary competition.
After the reading, the French director took questions from the children, which he said were “better than the journalists’ questions”.
