Russian media going crazy about Moscow tour stop
The Russian media got in a complete hysteria after the Kommersant newspaper started publishing bits and pieces of info about the much rumoured “Confessions Tour” stop in Moscow as reported here on M-Tribe the other day.
Today one of the national news agencies, namely ITAR-TASS – the Russian equivalent of the Associated Press, France Press, Xin Hua, etc.), one of the nationwide broadcasting TV-channels – “NTV“, and many other smaller Russian media reported that Madonna will perform in Moscow on September 11 and 12 on the Sparrows’ Hills (Vorobyovy Gory) – the open-air area (a park basically) in front of the main building of the Moscow State University.
The official announcement is still missing, although several sources hint that Madonna’s camp want it to coincide with the end of the North American leg and the kick off of the European leg of the tour next week.
Several news outlets worldwide have started reprising the news already, saying that the dates have been finalized following the final “OK” from Madonna and her team – and that the stage is supposed to be huge – with 27 trucks needed to transport all equipments to Moscow.
Keep checking M-Tribe for updates, and special thanks to Lollapalooza for his report from Russia.
