Today on several Italian newspapers such as Il Messaggero, il Corriere Della Sera, La Repubblica, as well as the free press Metro, City, Leggo Madonna made the headlines just like in 1990 as the ultimate Queen of Controversy. While some of the papers simply report that Madonna delivers a felt performance of her classic Live To Tell singing on a cross while telling the story of troubled people, others have started a campaign against the artist trying to convince the audience this “latest provocation”
hasn’t got anything to do with art.
In almost all the articles there are minor and bigger errors about Madonna’s carrer. Il Corriere della sera even claims her film “The Next Best Thing” is the autobiografical story of a working woman that decided to have a child without a father, while the very common and wrong belief that “Madonna“, is the stage name of the queen of provocations, appears in some of the articles as well.
