The spotlight shines on Stephen Bray in 2006
Former Madonna collaborator Stephen Bray has been nominated for a 2006 Tony Award, the american annual celebration of achievements in live and musical theater – the theatre’s equivalent to the Oscars, Grammys and Emmys.
He is nominated in the Original Score (Music and/or Lyrics) category for “The Color Purple” along with Brenda Russell, Allee Willis.
Stephen Bray is the talent who signed with Madonna many of her most incredible hit songs, all time classics like Express Yourself, Into The Groove, Angel, Over And Over, Pretender, Stay, Where’s The Party, Keep It Together, True Blue, Jimmy, Jimmy, Spotlight, Can’t Stop, Causing A Commotion, Each Time You Break My Heart, Get Over, Crimes Of Passion, and others.
The Awards will be presented on June 11, 2006.
