The Queen of Pop name-checked a host of British recording artists who have influenced her, including David Bowie, Elvis Costello, Goldfrapp and Portishead and producers Nelle Hooper, William Orbit and Stewart Price, the key influence on current album Confessions on a Dancefloor.
Madonna concluded: “Last, but certainly not least, I would like to thank all of my British fans because without you I would just be another singer from across the pond.”
