”What’s this all about?”
”This is a kangaroo and we are from Australia”.
Here’s the amazing story of Rob from Melbourne, Australia, and his memories of a night to remember with Madonna in Osaka.
“My wife Josy and l travelled to Osaka from Australia to see Madonna in concert. The show exceeded all my expectations. We had premium tickets (costing us 50,000 yen each) so our seats were 3 rows from the catwalk.
It started off by meeting and having a chat with her manager, Guy Oseary, before the show began. He was taking random photos in the crowd and took one of us too. He mentioned that she will definitely tour in Australia next time.
To be noticed in the crowd l brought with me a blow up kangaroo, which paid off. During the show she jumped off the stage to get closer to the crowd, she said “hi” to a few people before coming over to us and saying “what’s this all about” l said “this is a kangaroo and we are from Australia“.
She took it and went back on stage with it and placed it on the band member’s keyboard. Another Australian threw a Swagman’s hat onto the stage, she wore it for a little while before throwing it back into the crowd… and guess who ended up with it. Yes l did!!
Overall the concert was UNBELIEVABLE and Madonna has definitely improved with age. Her voice was the best l’ve ever heard.”
