Fans in the UK and all over the world have been wondering for some time now if the Queen of Pop was going to perform on stage on the day oif her own birthday for the first time ever this year, as rumours and almost confirmed information of an 8th concert at Wembley Arena scheduled for August 16, 2006 have been going on for a while.

If you have a look at the VIP Hospitality Packages currently available on the Get Live store for the UK, it seems that the show is indeed going to happen.

No announcement has been made so far, and the date is not listed on Ticketmaster.co.uk as of yet, but from Get Live you are able to buy already Hot Ticket Packages to see Madonna live in concert on Wednesday 16th August 2006.

• Update: A few minutes ago, the Get Live have updated their Madonna page, taking off all tickets for the supposed August 16 date at Wembley Arena. To a few fans who contacted getlive they stated those tickets were listed there as a mistake.
