Austria confessed

The sales of Madonna’s 2005 album Confessions on a Dance Floor went Platinum in Austria.

The album is one of her biggest prosperities ever in the Austrian Album charts. It launched 3 Top 20 singles,
Hung Up # 1(6 weeks), Sorry # 8 and Jump # 20.

Madonna’s first # 1 album in Austria was Like a Prayer in 1989. Since then she hits the album charts
another six times at # 1 with Something to Remember, Evita (6 weeks), Music, GHV2, American Life and
Confessions on a Dance Floor (34 weeks in charts).

Madonna also launched two # 2 albums: True Blue (46 weeks in charts) and Ray of Light (42 weeks in charts) and Like a Virgin at # 3 (34 weeks in charts).
