Madonna’s early hit “Borderline” becomes a mournful back-porch elegy on a countrified cover by the Chapin Sisters, the American musical group consisting of three daughters of Bonnie Chapin who play a blend of traditional folk harmonies and indie rock moodiness and are known for their vocal harmonies.
